Life story
September 9, 1975
Born in Rockford, Il.  on September 9, 1975.
April 24, 2003
Sarah was born on the go. She came into this world in a hurry, and left the same way.  The day she was born, her daddy and I were so proud of her.  The first thing I noticed about Sarah was her hair. It was white.  that was the first thing I said, where did she get the white hair.  As she got older, it turned blonde.  She was always getting dumb blonde jokes thrown at her. She would take it and throw one right back at you. Sarah never liked school very much. Her mind was always wondering out the window.  She always wanted to be somewhere else.  Outside, fishing, playing, anything but staying still.  She loved her big sister, Sheri. In Sarah's eyes, her sister could do no wrong. She could get mad at her sister, but let someone say anything bad about her. You would have Sarah to fight.  I think, one of Sarah's happiest moments with her sister would have been when they went car shoppig for Sarah a new car. She and her sister found the perfect car for Sarah. It is a little bright yellow Geo Storm. Her sister approved of the car, so that was that.  The car still sits in my front yard. Sarah had so many friends. She never meant a stranger. And no-one never forgot Sarah. she was such a cutup.  Always joking and going on.  But she did have a temper. Since she was so short, she always tried to make people think she was tougher than she really was.  She was really a softie at heart.  Sarah and I talked about her death just a few months before she died. She told me that if anything happened to her, she wanted certain things done.  Maybe her spirit knew her time here was at a close.   One of the things she wanted, was to be a donor. She was. Many people lead a better life today because of her love for people. by being a donor, her death counted for something.  Just think, there is a bit of Sarah still alive somewhere.  Sarah went home to be with God on  April 24, 2003.
